Do what you say you’re going to do.

So I hope over the past few days, you’ve been being the first person to reach out to someone, that you have a system in place now to reach out to them and stay in touch with them.

Today I’m going to give you the most simple one of them all, do what you say you’re going to do.

It’s a problem with sales people in general. We over promise and under deliver. Well, what if we over promise and over deliver, or what if we just simply do what we said we were going to do? If I say I’m going to get you some more information on a property, get that information on a property within a timely manner. Don’t say, I’ll get that to you within the next hour, and then you don’t have time. You’ve got an appointment scheduled and it takes you till the the end of the day to do it. Just say, “Hey, I’ll have that information back to you by the end of the day.” Or if you’re available, do it right then, but we know that in 2022 people want information now.

Again, we live in an instant gratification society, so people want answers right now and at the same time they want honesty. So just simply doing what you say you’re going to do, put you ahead of the pack.
